Hmmm, is it worth $599? Colorado commemorative - custom engraved ? I've heard mostly good about the Tisas 45's ?

I wouldn't pay $599 for it, because I hate the engraving.
But as an entry level 1911, Tisas made weapons certainly can hold up its own.

Infact, I like them slightly better than RIA, because they have properly shaped trigger guard, and bottom corner of grip isn't angled like RIA(don't know why they do that. It look stupid).

I buy RIA stuff, because they have much more variety(I like my full rail RIA!)

I looked at them and liked them. That one is the higher end one with replaceable sights.
I think they use the original 1911 blueprints, without the, later refinements for the lowest priced model. You get what JM Browning designed originally.

Don't much care for that engraved one though

a Turkish pistol to commemorate a communist state with the second amendment engraved on the slide?

Its like a Rosie O'Donnel swimsuit calender, it just don't make no sense.

lol, good one. I like the Tisas pistols, but I think I'll consider one without the 'extras"
