    Tactical / Field Treatment of Gunshot Wounds

    During this four hour seminar former Green Beret Medic Sgt. Joe Ogeshok will teach you how to buy the valuable time necessary to survive a traumatic wound. (See below for more information on Sgt. Ogershok)

    You’ll learn how to control massive hemorrhage, maintain an open airway, seal a sucking chest wound, and much more.

    Whether you’re a hunter, avid shooter, or you carry a gun for self-defense, the fact that you’re frequently around firearms makes this training a must. It could very well save your life or the life of a loved one.

    Where: Hollidaysburg Sportsmen’s Club main Clubhouse, Blair County

    Joe Ogershok served as a medical specialist with the 7th Special Forces Group from 1972-1981. After retiring from SCI-Huntingdon as a Corrections Unit Manager, Joe’s unique skills set led him to employment with a government contractor in Iraq. Joe served from 2006-2010 as a Remote Site Medical Officer at various locations in the Iraq Theater of Operations. Now stateside, he serves as an Operational Medicine Instructor for the Diplomatic Security Training Center in Dunn Loring, VA.

    He is a National Registry Advanced EMT and holds certifications in PA and VA as well as a Basic Life Support Instructor with the American Heart Assn.
