    Default Raging Bull

I just bought a 44 mag Taurus Raging Bull with 8" barrel. I've never owned a Taurus but figured I can't go too wrong with a wheel gun.
Any experiences with this line of Taurus revolvers?

Taurus revolvers seem to be very hit or miss, some people love them, some have nothing but problems. I've only had experince with two, a 7 shot.357, and a .44 mag, and both functioned and shot fine. My brother had the .44 with a 8-3/8 barrel, and it shot very well, it was accurate, and the recoil was very managable. I had actually planned on picking up a Raging Bull for myself, but I came across a good deal on a used 629, and ended up with that instead. I also have a Rossi M92 lever action that is made by Taurus, and I've been very happy with it. I know a lot of people dismiss Taurus without ever trying their products, but in my experience, while their guns may not be quite as refined as some higher end products, they are a fairly solid value.

I have a raging bull in 480 ruger magnum and its a solid gun.The cylinder only holds 5 rounds, thats my only gripe.Other than that is a well made, accurate revolver IMO. In the future i hope to pick up their tracker model in 22 mag.

I have one in 454, never had a problem with it. Very comfortable to shoot and recoil is very manageable.

Sounds like good reviews so far. It seems like a well made gun but that doesn't tell the tail. I'll have to shoot it this weekend and let you guys know how it does. Lifetime guarantee sits pretty nice with me

I had a Taurus 22 revolver (not the tracker, the one before it) and honestly it sucked. The trigger was long heavy and rough, and it got frequent light strikes. I'm sure a lot of this had to do with it being a rimfire, but I ended up selling it off and probably won't look to Taurus again

I carry a Taurus 85ul & have a 627 Tracker, both have worked flawlessly & are plenty accurate.
