Re: Tower Theater....
Greetings,
To the OP, I'm glad you had a good experience. I'm kind of surprised at some of the posts indicating no hassles to enter the Tower; perhaps it really does depend on the specific act and what type of crowd is anticipated. I've been to quite a few metal shows there, hard rock stuff, electronic, etc. and though it's been some years since my last time there, if my recall is correct, every time we were searched to some degree or another. Doubt it would have been possible to get a gun in unless it was REALLY small and VERY well hidden. I figured it would be getting worse, not better.
Did you find out if they actually have an official policy?
Anyhow, great there were no problems and you enjoyed the show.
Regards, Jim

I did not make an effort to look for their policy, did not even look for any posted signs. I guess I was just overwhelmed a bit by the whole experience.Last edited by Vantactical; September 30th, 2013 at 10:00 AM.

+1. Been visiting there for 10 years, not once unarmed in that area EVER. In fact, as soon as budget allowed it I upgraded from single stack to double stack specifically upon that inspiration.
That considered, the H Mart there is a great place to grocery shop and Yang Yang Express is probably the best Chinese food I've had anywhere east of the Mississippi.Last edited by Yellowfin; September 30th, 2013 at 12:12 PM.

Re: Tower Theater....
I am here to see Yes on 7/19/14, and there are tons of cops outside but they had no bag checks or anything other kind of checks to get in. I walked right in with my Sig 938 tucked neatly in my waistband.

Official policy would be 100% no weapons of any kind. I've worked for Live Nation / Elecric Factory etc for a little over 10 years.
Whether you get the pat down would depend on the expected crowd. Yes would be an older, less rowdy crowd, so that doesn't surprise me.

Here's their website. I don't see anything anti gun there.

Last time I was there (for Alice in Chains) was two or three years ago. My buddy carried concealed (he was the designated driver and I was the designated drinker), and we got in no problem.
