Random Gun Thoughts

So I thought I would give this a shot as I tend to have random gun related thoughts that I want to share (most likely against other people's will!) but starting a thread about one instance is over kill.

That being said, I invite all members to post random gun related thoughts here. They don't have to be related to the post above (or below if you can see the future). I guess we'll see if this falls flat on its face.

All I ask (RULES) is that:

NO complaining about a forum member (generalizations are a gray area)
NO complaining about a gripe with the forum layout
NO attacking others for what they post
NO ass hattery


Have fun with it. I'll kick things off with two thoughts. One a few weeks old and the other just today.


Thought 1: I have owned my own guns since 2007 and have been shooting every since. Not once have my dad and I gone out together...

Thought 2: If you are an FFL and you're going to sell an overpriced AR15 (or any rifle) that is customized, please put the flip up sights on the rifle facing the correct direction. I seriously question your credibility if you can't even do that right.

I hate coming to Maryland every day for work knowing that I can not carry. Baltimore City (where I work) is the most dangerous place I go with any frequency and I can not protect myself. Sucks!

I guess the most important gun related thought I'd like to share is:

Regardless of what specific part of the gun/shooting/hunting/OC/CC/whatever your interests lie, it is vital that we all stick together to fight those who would limit any aspect of our rights. That's all for now.

have you Tried Simply Rugged Holsters? Even if something is not on the drop down list, I'll be he can make one if you contact them.

I have 3 of their holsters, and am very happy.

#1 - I successfully concealed IWB at a work conference yesterday wearing dress pants and a tucked in shirt. None of the sheep knew.

#2 - It boils my blood when I think about NJ's carry policy. How can laws be so different when they're just a short distance away from each other? I want to enact change and am always trying to think of a way how. I go there often and having to move there one day isn't out of the question so it hits home with me.
