Weapons Found in Car on School Grounds

Veteran employee leaves firearms in car on school property. School and police go ballistic:

Was this merely a case of a man carelessly leaving his firearms in his car? The way the media is acting, you'd think he was the reincarnation of Charles Whitman! One would think some "psycho killer" was loose on the grounds of Lincoln High School. Lincoln High School itself is persistently on the list of dangerous schools in the state. Students there terrorize the locals every day at dismissal. Maybe this man was afraid of one of the little thugs going Columbine?
