MISSISSIPPI OPEN CARRY: THE 2ND AMENDMENT IS YOUR CARRY PERMIT
While everyone was watching news in Colorado during the final weeks of the recalls, Mississippi was instituting a new law to allow the open carry of firearms without a concealed carry permit.
House Bill 2 was passed in Mississippi's last legislative session and signed into law by Governor Phil Bryant (R), but put on hold in July when Circuit Judge Winston Kidd issued an injunction to have the legislature "clarify it."
On August 29 the Mississippi Supreme Court "unanimously upheld the... open carry law," setting the stage for it to take effect.

Disastrous week for Bloomberg, Illinois, Colorado, Mississippi, I'm hoping he puts his wallet back in his purse and fades away, highly unlikely but hey one can hope.

That would be corrupt and politician would never do that.
To answer your question though, I honestly don't know. It, however, would not surprise me in the slightest if that were true. This is the same man who sends NYPD to other states to do stings without even notifying said state.

Re: MISSISSIPPI OPEN CARRY: THE 2ND AMENDMENT IS YOUR CARRY PERMIT
Great, now they and the other states need to finish reading the 2A, and see where it says SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED, and quit with the charade of *Open carry*, *Concealed carry*, permits, etc. SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED. Basic English language. I don't need a piece of paper or anyone's permission to keep and bear arms. The right isn't provided by the State or the Constitution. It's affirmed by the Constitution, then infringed on by the State.
