Cumberland County NFA Prospects
Trying to take the county temperature before even thinking about an NFA transfer.
Does anybody have any recent experience with CLEO approval? I've only heard rumors about Sheriff Ronny Anderson, I don't know him personally.
If anybody has an idea, please let me know. I'd like to know my odds before making a phone call or doing a face to face.

You use the Chief of Police for whatever Township or Borough you live in, not Sheriff Anderson. I.E. Chief Margeson of Carlisle Borough Police if you live in Carlisle. I am from Cumberland County and I do not believe you will have any issues with any Chief of Police in Cumberland. I know of many people with NFA weapons in Cumberland County.

Re: Cumberland County NFA Prospects
chief spots of mechanicsburg and I had a decent talk while doing paper for my super shorty. at that time he was ok with silencers and misc. other items but he was pretty firm on not signing off on anything that is full auto. this took place about a year and a half ago. not sure where he stands now. considering several years before this while doing paper on a can he had stated he was good even on full auto I see his tolerance for such things going away slowly.

Re: Cumberland County NFA Prospects
Question: I need to get my form 4 signed. I don't live in the Boro of Carlisle but have a Carlisle mailing address. If Sheriff Anderson will not sign off and I'm not in the Boro....who do I go see? I'd like to avoid having to do a trust at this time. Any help you guys can provide would be helpful.
