Escort MPA-TS

I have been considering adding a semi auto shotgun to my arsenal (which currently consists of 1x Beretta Nano). As much as I would love a Benelli M4, I just got a new car last month so I have to be realistic with my budget. While reading everything out there about the Stoeger 2000 & the Tri-Star Raptor / Escort MPA / Linberta 01LSTAC, I came across this...



A telescopic stock version of the Escort known as the MPA-TS. For some strange reason, there are several Canadian sites carrying them, but no distribution in the US. I reached out to both Hatsan & Legacy, hopefully these will show up at US retailers before the end of the year. Anyone see these at their local shop or maybe at a recent gun show? With 5 shot capacity & a non folding stock, they *should* be 922R compliant AFAIK.

Have you considered the Mossberg 930 SPX? They can be had for between $600-700 and there's a pretty substantial amount of aftermarket parts for them. I've had one for a few years and I love it.

That Escort is cool but how much trouble are you willing to go through to get it? What happens if something goes wrong? You'll have a hell of a time getting parts for it.

I appreciate the suggestion. Raptor / Escort / 01LSTAC have been out for a while, just not with the collapsing stock. Legacy finally responded to my email and said they have no current plans to import the MPA-TS, I am having a bit of difficulty wrapping my head around this configuration only being available in Canada. I know there is a telescopic stock available from ATI so I may go that route... not really in a hurry to make a purchase especially when a more attractive version may be on the horizon.
