Montgomery County Parks - New signs and ordinance update
Good folks of Pennsylvania,
After reading the threats of the previous sheriff I took the initiative to have the signs and ordinance changed. I first contacted them in June, we're seeing a change after I dumped a load of documentation on them, they listened and we've affirmative action.
You may remember the previous sheriff's statement here:

New signs are being printed for the parks, trails and historical sites for Montgomery county. The ordinance change will take time, however the ordinance will not be enforced.
I encouraged several officials and the solicitor's office to take charge in making the changes, we'll see them soon. I'll post the text of the new signs once I receive them, the solicitor's office may end up sending me a photo of the signs, we'll see.
Anyway, if there are any other concerns please feel free to bring them up. If there are any other ordinances which you have concerns about, bring them to me.

I'm still looking in to that one. 6120 covers government agencies beneath the state, not state agencies. I'm doing research as to who has authority, the department or the state, to enact laws which may conflict with the state constitution, Section 21. I'm well aware of the section passed in the Castle Doctrine, though my thoughts are more along the line of governing committees for entities like the state parks and PSP.

Well done, Geoff. These violations are slowly being reversed statewide, but there are many more to tackle. Keep up the good work.
