    Default Motorcycle "open carry" encounter

Ok, who was it? I was driving south on 309 near 202 on my way home from work earlier this month and spotted a guy on a motorcycle with a handgun on his hip. I finally caught up to him and gave him a thumbs up on the gun, then proceeded to try to inform him that his shirt and what looked like a phone case fell off or out of a basket on the back of his bike. So, was it anyone on the forum?

Was the motorcycle a red pocket rocket? Could have been my nephew if it was. Confirm the color and I'll contact his girl to see if it was him.

Thank you DavidTM. My first neg rep and from a joke that wasn't even directed at you or ment to insult anyone.

Bravo and welcome to the internet, some of us actually have a sense of humor.

I drive a tri-axle dump in and around the city all day, I see quite a few riders with their shirt riding up in the wind and exposing their gun, in fact saw a black guy on a crotch rocket on the Schuylkill heading west today gun on right hip. Don't really pay it much thought.

Congrats on getting to post 527 before you got your first negative rep. I think I got to about post #4 before I got my first negative rep. I believe I got five or six neg reps for that single post. I think it had something to do with my nickname, being new, and some forum members thinking I was a trolling anti-gunner. Since then, I believe I have shown that I'm not a troll, I am an ardent supporter of the 2nd Amendment, and I add something to the threads where i post. I truly appreciate the discussion, debate, and learning that I've had through participating in various threads on this board.

Your welcome. I'm the first one who appreciates a well thought out humor, but IMHO that was just plain stupid. Now, don't mis-read that and think I'm calling you stupid. I'm not. The post was. I can't even call it a joke. Not even sarcasm.

And "using the rifle" can mean a lot of things to a lot of people. I was thinking they didn't allow you to actually have ammo...so it was more along the lines of smacking your head with the wooden or fiberglass stock.

    Dave

I probably shouldn't say this publicly but my next neg rep will be my first.
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.
