i went there last august and all they did was check my back pack. i just left mine in my lock box in the car because i planned on going on the water rides. but from what i saw if you plan on cc in the park just keep it concealed and be careful if you go on the rides.
nice park by the way and big compared to kennywood( my neck of the woods)

I was there last summer, but I left my P89 in the car...I was afraid of losing it on one of the rides. But from what I saw, there was no metal detectors or pat downs...no one even checked our bags when we went in.

I've carried at Hershey, but I don't get on any of the "cool" rides (more due to bad back then worrying about my gun).
If you do carry, I suggest you use a holster with a retention strap. If pocket carry, put the gun/holster in a pocket you can button (such as some cargo pants) which is what I did.

I did a simple search on the keyword Hersheypark, hope it helps.

Oh, you're not being rude at all. Virtually every topic we can bring up has been brought up before...so, if we use the SEARCH, nobody would have anything to post.
Anyway, new posts on old subjects bring fresh points of view and allow new members to post and get in the community!

No problem, I'm an avid supporter of using the search function and being a member of two other large forums, a lot of stuff gets duplicated.

My mistake, I forgot about the search forum, as you see, it was late when I posted.

    I've carried at...

    Hershey
    Knoebels
    Dorney

I like the fanny pack method. A lot of people have them. They're always on your body. They have a zipper to keep your weapon secure. An internal holster for even more retention. They even make some that are water proof. Or if you're like me I'll carrya Glock and not worry about the water. You kind of "blend in." I like carrying my G19 in it. (Mag in, empty chamber) When I had my G33 it was the same way. I have never been searched there. (Never bring a bag) I have never seen any postage at any of the parks. (Even if there was it doesn't hold any water.

    Just my thoughts.

I used a fanny pack at Disney last trip. You definitely blend in with one in that environment

Of course that was back before I bought my "murse":

When i went to disney i had a fanny pack. they made me open all of the zipper compartments. never patted me down. made my wife empty her backpack because of an autograph book that had a sharp corner. Going to hershey chocolate tour next week or so. ill take the chance, fanny pack empty, gun in holster.
