Re: Hersheypark
The question is if they will stop an old white guy going there with their kids when the buzzer goes off.
I wouldn't want to think they profiling.......or racist.

Re: Hersheypark
In my experience, "bag searches" are far from comprehensive. Something compact in a secondary, easy to overlook pocket will go undetected. They will look and poke around in the main compartment with a stick (so they don't "touch" your stuff), but won't take the time to have every little compartment opened for inspection, and then the bag bypasses the detector, so 'on-body' concerns can be more readily discovered.

Hmm. New uses for tinfoil?
I think I'm gunna pocket carry and shove my big ass phone in front of my p365, woth keys in the same pocket.
Let's see if those fancy scanners can make out a p365 between all of that and a fat belt buckle.

Re: Hersheypark
About 30 years ago I had a conversation with the marketing manager for King's Dominion amusement park in Virginia. He told me that he had proposed a "no rides" pass for seniors that would be a nominal fee. The idea was that if Grandma and Grampa did have to shell out $40 each (price back then) just to sit on the benches, they'd be more likely to bring the grandkids more often and wind up spending more money. That idea never went anywhere.
