    Default .223 or .308 bullet molds?

    Does anyone know where I can find these in stock? I've only really looked into lee molds and can't seem to find them anywhere. I have zero experience casting my own bullets but wanted to give it a try since it seems pretty inexpensive to get started, so suggestions (outside of lee) are welcome.

    These molds make Lee molds look like crap. You will need a set of Lee 6 cavity mold handles to use these molds.

    You're new to boolit casting.... welcome aboard. Set up a tent here

    There is a TON of information on that board.

    A quick look over at midwayusa shows several Lee 309 2 cavity molds available. Used molds at gun shows occasionally can be a good deal. However learn what to look for in a used mold. Been there, made my mistake once. Seems idiots on Ebay price molds out of reality. However this is the age of custom mold makers. Here are a couple I will deal with again if I need to;

    I started with a $18 Lee and in hindsight glad I did as I made just about every mistake one could make with a mold. When it came time to get serious I looked elsewhere.
    Would probably get more response if this was up in the reloading section.

    Thanks for the replies, that's super helpful.

    I'll be honest, I'm only at about the stage of seeing a few youtube video's. It just didn't seem super complicated. Any thing I should watch out for or avoid doing off the bat?

    I'm going to be working with wheel weights that a buddy of mine can supply for literally nothing (they give them away now..).

    And where is this reloading section you mentioned? I didn't see one so I posted it up here. Am I blind or what??
