Colt 6920 vs the Sig M400
I was looking at the specs for these two rifles.
They seem pretty close.
Know of any specific reasons as to why the 6920 is better?
Being in NJ, I'm also considering the neutered compliant versions. The Colt's compliant version of the 6920 is the 6400 which apparently has a neutered BCG.
I wonder if the Sig's internals have also been neutered in the compliant version.

Re: Colt 6920 vs the Sig M400
Can't speak for the Colt, but I have a Sig M400 enhanced and it's a good rifle. The only think I don't like is how hard it is to customize. Taking the buffer tube off is a nightmare, and changing the pistol grip requires a long allen wrench, not a regular screwdriver. No malfunctions in about 750 rounds I have put through it, and good accuracy.

Re: Colt 6920 vs the Sig M400
When it comes to the AR platform, Colt has always been the standard that every company strives for.
www.M4carbine.net has a spreadsheet of milspec components in an AR. Compare Sig's AR with the list and it should be good reference. I've always been a fan of Sig Sauer, but I'm not very familiar with their rifle line.
My rifle is made by Bravo Company Manufacturing.
