10 round Glock 23 mag conversion?
I live in NY and have 10 round mags for my Glock 23. Moving soon to PA.
Can my magazines easily be converted to hold more or do in need to purchase new ones?

Re: 10 round Glock 23 mag conversion?
I'm not 100%, but I believe the mags were manufacutered such that they cannot be converted by swapping followers or anything like that. If you remove the floorplate I believe you will find that there are two 'ribs' stamped into the liner of the mag that make it a single stack. If I'm completely wrong on this someone please correct me.

Sell them to the commies back in NY and get yourself some new ones! Or just keep the old ones for range use and get yourself some new ones.

Re: 10 round Glock 23 mag conversion?
It will depend on how the magazine was crippled.
If it has a short mag body with a big piece of plastic to make up the difference to the bottom of the mag - there is nothing that can be done.
If it has a full length mag body, but has something inside limiting the follower's travel - you might be able to modify it to allow full capacity.
You might be best off just buying new mags and saving those 10rd mags for range usage.RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515
