Yep, we think with out brains, not our hearts.

The heart is a pump. Good for moving the blood around. Not so great for making plans that work.

I also hope that this incident doesn’t re-ignite another anti-2A campaign from our liberal media. That being said, look at the story we have so far….

“Odour (gunshot victim’s buddy) told police he and his friend (gunshot victim) were walking to their car when they stopped to talk to a girl. The victim told police the two men were having a conversation with the woman when a man(the alleged shooter) got between them and asked, “What are you doing?”

    1. Two guys meet this girl (alone?, story didn’t say she was with anyone) at 2am and “talk” with her….
    2. Alleged shooter comes in and asks “what are you doing?”
    3. Someone gets shot, and we (and the media) are already crucifying the shooter.

So, while I am not advocating for shooting willy-nilly and someone to save a “damsel in distress,” type or “let’s be the hero and save the world” scenario, I also think that we should not be crucifying the shooter until the facts come out.

Maybe the story went something like:

2 Drunk guys prey upon a lone woman outside leaving a bar at 2 am…
Another man intervenes to see if the woman needs help…
2 guys threaten/harass perhaps even physically assault the person who intervened…and then he pulls his firearm to protect himself..

Perfectly plausible scenario given the facts we have so far….so if that was the story, perhaps there should be outrage from PRO 2A?…..

Think about it… it can happen to you...

Again, I am not saying he was right, nor am I saying a gun is the answer in every scenario, but this thread has basically already abandoned the shooter as some gun crazy nut…which he could have been… but anyway.. I digress.
