NFL Player Marvin Harrison allegedly shoots a man
Details are sketchy. Probably the last guy you would expect to shoot someone. He is the anti-T.O. and let his play on the field do all the talking. I've read that he used a .50 caliber custom Belgian handgun. I'm thinking its really an FN 5.7x28. The article says he did lie to the cops. He said the firearm in question was in his suburban philadelphia home and had never left. But they actually found the gun at the carwash they were questioning him at. So why would he lie if he did nothing wrong? Maybe he can get on Mike Vick's football team in jail. We shall see as details emerge.
Here is a link to the article...

Re: NFL Player Marvin Harrison allegedly shoots a man
I hope this turns out well for Harrison. He's actually a very nice guy. Co-worker's wife does work with him on some of his properties and he has always been very polite and generous. He works with the community and in does not portray himself as a thug.
I would not hesitate to say that he is one of the better role models in the NFL. He makes a point of giving back to the community where he grew up.
Don't be too quick to judge him yet.

Not considered A Suspect!
The victim is not cooperating with police and refuses to identify the shooter.(I know its shocking j/k) I'm sure he will be looking for some street justice. I did think they would try to make an example out of Marvin. With gun control being such a hot issue in Philadelphia and him being a high profile player. Hopefully everything works out and we will see him playing next season.

Re: Not considered A Suspect!
By the way, some details came in, and it looks like it was a FN 5.7, not a .50 cal pistol.
