Norristown doesnt have me in system?

Came in with all my ducks in a row a few months back.. Its been 90days so today i went in too see what the hold up was. Turns out they dont have any record of me applying for a permit.
The older guy told me "It might be on one of these desks but im not looking for it." He told me to start over and apply again.
Ive been hearig how norristown is.. I have a clean background. Please tell me this has nothing to do with my appearance..

Anyone have advice on what i could do next.. Besides just lay down and re-apply?

That may have caused me to do something that would assure that I never got a LTCF.

You should set up a meeting with the sheriff, explain to him that his employee was rude to you and ask what is going on with your situation

90 days is twice the legal, allotted time to issue, or deny, your license.

Did you give them the $20 when you dropped off your application, and did they give you a receipt? I know my sheriff gives receipts for the money.

Was totally gonna say the same thing...but was browsing from phone and don't usually post that way!

While I would bet this is a simple case of oversight, this guy's attitude was simply not acceptable. I hope that you have a receipt and you should definitely try to get a meeting with the sheriff to sort this out. Good luck and keep us updated as to how they respond.

Little bit of an update. I went down to the courthouse again and spoke too someone. Kept my cool, was respectful almost too the "yessa masta" point. I got a call the next day saying I could come pick it up. All in all I feel like they just make it a headache for anyone they can.

Told me it was because im a resident alien.. Whether that was it or not, its a good excuse lol
