Re: Ross Township Shooting Gives Rise to Anti Moves
Never mind the fact that he shot through the building from outside and then charged inside shooting. Yeah a new gun free zone and a magnetometer would have stopped that.
I'm sure the penalty alone of bringing a firearm inside would have stopped him from murdering people

Re: Ross Township Shooting Gives Rise to Anti Moves
I am sick of these lunatic murdering human trash giving gun haters the cover they need to go after the people's rights and freedoms. On television the talking heads claim the murderer said he wanted to kill more people, then they show the scumbag saying he wished he had gotten a good judge and a good lawyer so he wouldn't have done this. It's a cheap cop out from a p.o.s. dirt bag, but why was the news over and over repeating this crap? Does anybody pay attention? Is it all hype the violence and push the gun control? Now let's see how the process treats dirt bag. Shame on anyone who washes their hands in the blood of these people for thier devious attacks on gun rights. Comfort and peace to the family and wounded of this crime, they are the innocent, they pay the price of a sick mental deficient criminal with no thought or care for anything or anyone else but his own foul twisted self.

Re: Ross Township Shooting Gives Rise to Anti Moves
The failure here is that no one else there was armed.
What if an armed group, civilian or even police/sheriff's office, took over the streets to prevent certain groups from airing or redressing their grievances with the government or to discourage people from voting?
If more people at the meeting were armed (including or in addition to the police) then the impact of the crazy fringe would be much less. Further, the above oppression would be more difficult for a party to successfully implement. The 2A would actually work towards its purpose.
Unfortunately, people have been brainwashed into thinking that the absence of firearms resolves all issues so that they should voluntarily give up their right to effective self-defense. A sitting duck is a lame duck. (We all know how ineffective/impotent a lame duck politician is!)
Of course, our membership here realizes how ludicrous the concept is. Nice in theory; bad in execution. It is you. You have all the weapons that you need. Now fight. --Sucker Punch

Re: Ross Township Shooting Gives Rise to Anti Moves
I'm not sure why all the anti's come out of the woodwork everytime there's a shooting. There's a quote from a founder of this country that they would do well to consider:
"It is on great occasions only, and after time has been given for cool and deliberate reflection, that the real voice of the people can be known"
-George Washington1776 or 1984? - You decide.

Re: Ross Township Shooting Gives Rise to Anti Moves
Knee jerk reaction pushback. We can not stop the liberal media who will continue to make an issue; we can only contact our representatives and make them feel like there is safety in numbers so that their political tail is covered.

Re: Ross Township Shooting Gives Rise to Anti Moves
I am surprised more haven't talked about this fact. If one or more present at the meeting would have been armed, they could have put this whackjob down after the first shots were fired.

I reached out to reps concerning HB 805. I suggest others do so as well

Anyone that believes a law will stop someone from breaking a law like murder should IMMEDIATELY be sent for mental evaluation
No hyperbole.... I truly believe these people are mentally retarded and I worry that they hold positions in officeLast edited by BimmerJon; August 8th, 2013 at 02:39 PM.

Re: Ross Township Shooting Gives Rise to Anti Moves
The liberal socialist media, which includes our local media outlets (as they are just extentions of the liberal socialist driven ABC, NBC, and CBS) will never admit this or report it that way.
They will never deal with common sense or the importance of our US Constitution.
It should be no surprise.
Although, reguardless... no matter what... We the People should bring this up always and often to the networks and complain about it every chance we get. Anger is ok, but without being hostile, they should hear from US, the silent majority often.
Problem is also, have you ever notice when they do air someone with pro 2nd ammendment views... it's always someone that is ranting, and sounding like a buffoon... only to make us ALL look like we're nothin' but a bunch of hostile dumb ass rednecks!
It's all about the socialist agenda, people.
And unfortunately, until/if??? more get eduacated to this agenda....
It's not stopping anytime soon. Here in PA, and throughout the country.Last edited by salmonrebel; August 8th, 2013 at 02:45 PM.
