Re: 2A Friendly Merchants in Wayne?
Nothing up here except Matamoras Rod and Gun Club out in Milford, it's a beautiful range and the members are nice people but it's hard to become a member plus it's very, very expensive. When I shoot my pistols I go down to the Pocono Pistol Club in Stroudsburg, the facilities and staff are top notch plus the price of admission is reasonable. If I want to shoot my rifles I drive all the way down to Easton and shoot at Easton Game and Fish, great ranges and the membership is like $60-$80 a year with a 3 guest membership which is the only fee you pay. You can go shooting there afterwards for no additional fees for the rest of the year plus you can shoot for as long as you like unless the range is crowded. I try going on Fridays before the afternoon since the place is ghost town. The only downside is the distance (I am South of I-84) which is around 60 miles one way for me, from Hawley it's probably closer to 80 miles. If that's too far I would recommend looking at places out in Scranton/Dickson City, I know a few places exist out there and it's about 45-60 miles from Hawley taking I-84 West but I don't remember the names.
Here are the links to the places I shoot at if you're interested:
Easton Game and Fish
Pocono Pistol Club

Bill, stop by Heberlings on River Rd at Rt 6 in Prompton. It's a bit antiquated but the people are nice and membership is cheap.

The range at State Game Land 183 is right in Wallenpaupack on Rt6. Probably going to suck with all the snow. But in the summer it's..... interesting. I get my $30 worth each year. You either need a valid Pa hunting or fur taker license or range permit.
