Guns in movies?

So if this belongs in another forum i am sorry!

But my Girlfriend gets mad at me all the time because when we watch movies i tend to identify the guns that i can and if i cant i like to maybe look them up. i like to test how well i can visually identify stuff i do with with dogs i see too lol.

My friends think the gun things is awesome esecially since i am usually right.

So i was wondering if anyone else does this?

I do it with guns and cars......mainly just to drive my wife nuts

I do anytime I watch tv, which isn't too often. Usually its my dad calling me into the living room asking "what kinda gun is that?!"

Todays episode of "Shooting Gallery" on the outdoor channel was all about movie guns.

And that is the one and only complaint i have about the good Ole SRU is that we do not get the outdoor network

Thing that annoys me is,why does every person with a gun on tv always rack the slide every time they get ready to fire?They never have a loaded gun?Scene to scene they rack the slide.It makes me crazy.

I usually find myself counting shots before a reload is seen. I love the 56 shot revlovers and infinite ammo of the semi's.
