OWB Holster Recomendations for Smith 442...
I am relatively new to handguns, but I recently brought home a Smith and Wesson 442. Just wondering if anyone out there who owns one can recommend a good OWB holster.
I did try our a few styles from a friend, however they were all IWB and I did not find them comfortable. I was looking at a Bianchi 55L, but really have no experience so please fire away with suggestions.

Hello Gf45acp,
Thank you for the reply, that is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. One last question for you though... do you find that there is any wiggle or bounce and does the lack of a retention strap cause you any issues? Since this would be my first carry, I am concerned about the gun falling out... ( i know it probably wont happen, I will not be doing cartwheels...)

Look at Simply Rugged. Their Silver Dollar Pancake Holster is a very nice holster at a very good price. I have Simply Rugged holsters for all of my carry guns. I like them a lot.

The Desantis has a snap strap, it goes between the grip and trigger guard and holds the gun it by holding down the trigger guard into the holster., and you dis-engage it with your middle finger. That is why I like it, as I do not trust tension holsters.
