Carrying under 21 w/out of state license?
So I was looking at getting a NH CCP since you can get it at 18 and as a non resident. I also noticed that it is valid in PA. My question is, if I am under 21(I'm 20) but still have this permit from NH, am I still legal to carry it concealed or in a vehicle loaded?

Re: Carrying under 21 w/out of state license?
I believe it is legal. Im 20 as well and was thinking about doing this. Most people who are knowledgable about carry laws can understand how this may be perfectly legal and may not see anything wrong with it. Do you think the police will be as reasonable? I dont. Thats why I never did it. I was going to get a Maine permit when I was 19 but decided its not worth the legal hassle if a situation ever arose.

"Pennsylvania Honors Non-Resident Permits/Licenses From the States They Honor Except for Arizona, Florida, Maine, Mississippi and Virginia."
And it seems to be changing fairly often under the new AG.

If it was me, and I was under 21, I would have no problem carrying on an out of state license as long as it was legal. I would probably be more discrete about it.

Re: Carrying under 21 w/out of state license?
I think this covers it. If you're going to do it, I'd have a copy of the UFA readily available and reciprocity agreements to support your case. Also, like was stated before, it's legal to OC in PA at age 18, but not conceal unless you have a LTCF or reciprocal permit.
§ 6106 Firearms not to be carried without a license.
(b) Exceptions
(15) Any person who possesses a valid and lawfully issued license or permit to carry a firearm which has been issued under the laws of another state, regardless of whether a reciprocity agreement exists between the Commonwealth and the state under section 6109(k), provided:
(i) The state provides a reciprocal privilege for individuals licensed to carry firearms under section 6109.

Re: Carrying under 21 w/out of state license?
Are you not held to the laws of the state in which you carry..ie----you may have a home state permit to carry at 20- but the permit is valid in PA only if you are 21 - as that is the law to CCW in PA??
Similar to - I cannot carry in a bar in TX (Texas Law) - though my PA LTCF allows me to carry IN Texas.

There is no law in PA that says you must be 21 to carry.
