Default New Jersey Supreme Court to hear Pantano CCW Case

The NJ Supreme Court has agreed to hear the Pantano case, which alleges violation of 2A rights by denying right-to-carry. CCW is 'may issue' in NJ which is essentially handled by LE and the courts as 'no issue.'

Even if the court determines no 2A violation, it's a stepping stone to SCOTUS on this.

A-72-12 IMO the Application for a New Jersey Permit to Carry a Handgun by Richard Pantano (072329)

Does the statutory requirement that an applicant for a permit to carry a handgun demonstrate “a justifiable need to carry a handgun,” N.J.S.A. 2C:58-4(d), violate the right to bear arms under the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution?

Why even bother with the NJSC,,,, we all know where this is going to wind up. Just move it along to the SCOTUS and quit wasting taxpayers money.

Tell bro in-law prove his bullshit. I lived there for 35 years and never came across 1 person with a ccw. I belonged to Central Jersey Rifle and Pistol Club 3700 members and never heard of one member with a ccw.

I just did a quick search population of NJ 8.8 million. Number of CCW in NJ 32,000 and that figure comes from the GOA. tell you bro in-law he's full of horse manure.

As long as your cool to the cops, they dont care
Oh, and they can own the same weapons that we can here in pa.
