Anyone on here want to run for senator?
I am seriously considering entering politics when I get older, we don't need more lawyers and people who have rich daddy's and never worked a day in their lives, spending there entire life in the upper class. I would love to be able to truly represent the middle class because that's where I came from and if I do enter the upper class it will be from my own honest doings.

We obviously can't be the silent majority anymore.

All in all, the big picture throughout this country right now... There's never been more of a push to change us into a socialist style European monarchy/oligarchy.

It's all about control from the elite and has nothing to with our liberty, period!
...Picking who suceeds or fails... (the bail-outs) (the promoting of BS "Green energy"-meanwhile attacking our oil/gas/coal industries), "Social Justice!", Obamacare(healthcare takeover controlled by the government!), gun control attacks on our 2nd ammendment (and that includes the so-called "universal background checks"[REGISTRATION!!!]), phone tapping/emails, "executive orders", 1st ammendment attacks on conservative speakers, the IRS's scandal on targeting TEA party/conservative groups, socialist indoctrination to our children in public schools!, and the list goes on and on!!!

Oh, by the way... Majority of these elites feel that we need to radically change or do away with our constitution!... As they think it is outdated!, among other things. This list includes many, that are on record stating these things! So, it shouldn't be any surprise... when they push these unconstitutional legislations.
Because they don't honor it, believe in it, or care too!
That goes for Obama, Hillary, Uncle Biden(an his empty double barrel shotgun!), Feinstein, Bloomberg, and many many more!... Including some of our Supreme Court Justices!!!
Don't believe me, google them. It all comes from the horses mouths! An I say horses mouths, very loosely...if you know what I mean?
What else really ticks me off with these dirbags?!!!...
Is,... They are ALL SWORN IN TO PROTECT AND HONOR OUR CONSTITUTION!
?????????!!!!!!!!!!... How the hell are you sworn into something you don't believe in?!!! .... And for the life of me, and all of us that love our liberties and freedom.... The fact that they are able to be sworn into public office, IS A FELONY to me!!! They should be DEPORTED!!!

An I didn't even mention, the (lame)mainstream media!... that includes our local tv news and newspapers, as... all they are.. are extentions of the mainstream tv networks and big city liberal publishers!
They are at the controls of pushing and promoting this socialist "change!" Remember the "Hope and Change" speaches?!!... What do ya think it's all about???
The mainstream media's only true intentions now-a-days are to manipulate to push their Hollywood owned socialist views and agenda onto us all and their ratings, that's pretty much it!
They are... Perhaps the BIGGEST PROBLEM!, for our LIBERTY/FREEDOM!

Unfortunitely, like many in this country right now... if you think otherwise?... your either uninformed/manipulated(by the media) or know damn well what's going on and are part of the problem.

Our founding fathers warned us about this years ago. It's the very same thing they were fleeing from when they left Europe, to what is trying to be installed here now by the socialist elite!
That's why our constitution was written the way it was by our founding fathers and why it is the BEST IN THE WORLD!
We need to eduacate people/an our children as much as we can to the reality of this, to what made/makes our country the best in the world.
It starts with the importance of our constitution and our founding fathers.

And for PA?... If we don't want any of these far reaching Bloomberg/Manchan/Toomey style gun laws... We had better be alot more vocal and make sure our votes count in this upcoming mid-term election in 2014.
I don't care, if your republican or democrat.
If you care about your 2nd ammendment gun rights?, it should be priority to see that our current governer Tom Corbett gets re-elected for at least 1 more term.

Arlen Specter shepherded the 1994 AWB/magazine ban through the Senate. He was the deciding vote to get it out of committee. Toomey's background check amendment was flawed, but nowhere near what Spector did.

Keep in mind this circular firing squad among non-gun-control people is exactly what the gun grabbers want. If we take out Toomey for them in favor of a "true conservative" in the primary, a true grabber like Kane or Schwartz replaces him in the Senate and gives BO and company every gun ban they want. I hope your pride in not allowing a "traitor" Republican comforts you when they pass an AWB with your help.

PA is a blue state, and has been in every election since 2004 (except the oddball 2010 election) and Toomey is the best you're going to get, sorry. Corbett is probably screwed in 2014 and Toomey's going to have it very tough in 2016 with it being a presidential election year (and someone who scares PA independents would have zero chance).

Getting into influential political office usually requires climbing a long ladder of offices, most of which are inconsequential, any rung of which can be cut out by someone supposedly on your side, who enjoys having power over people. If you look like a threat to that power you're going to get stuck at county/city council level or lower.

Instances like Rand Paul (on the good side) or Michael Bloomberg (on the bad side) just jumping in and running for an important office are extremely rare. With the combination of gerrymandering, ballot access laws, and campaign finance laws, our system is set up to filter out all but the worst statists getting into higher office.

Not saying you shouldn't get involved but... maybe there are better ways than running for office. Changing the incentive structure for politicians is another, admittedly less exciting tactic.

I don't care what gun grabbers want. The Arlen Spector reference was about him crossing his party and eventually giving us Obamacare. Your logic is what put us where we are today. We shouldn't hold our politicians accountable for their actions? It's time to put RINO's in check or the party is completely doomed. The lesser of 2 evils is not a valid argument anymore. Toomey is on the same payroll as Kane and Schwartz....BLOOMBERG! He sided with Manchin and Schumer for Bloomberg to back off.

I no longer care who they put in anymore, we are past that road. It's not rocket science, you either stand for liberty or you stay loyal to the king. Your choice.

so you're saying to not hold our politicians accountable? It's as good as it gets and we should be thankful for our bread and circus? That's how we got into this mess, as far as the red blue, please look at your last election map over 90% of the state counties are red, the blue ones are the ones with abnormally high voter turn out along with other abnormalities and are fighting voter ID laws, wonder why that is.

Plenty of support for the Manskin-Tumor "only a little background check, watcha got to hide?" law in our own ranks...

Sure we can hold our politicians accountable, but what does that do? If Toomey loses next election, even just in the primary he will be replaced with another professional, career politician in it purely for personal gain, and power.

The system is flawed, and the game is rigged. Both parties are just huge machines to enable their leaders to unfairly amass wealth, power, and more control over the people.

If everyone who says 'I'd vote third party, but it's throwing away a vote' would actually vote third party, they would be viable. yea, it's rigged, so stop playing by their rules, and put a knot in their tail by voting third party. Vote your principles, not who they say is most electable, or party line.
