Default Weapon to carry when you are unable to conceal carry

I was wondering what others used to carry when they are not able to carry 'obvious' weapons such as their handgun/OC spray/knives etc due to workplace, on an airplane, etc. I was looking into the tactical pens that can double as a pointy weapon that could cause damage if used appropriately.

    Thoughts?

How about something like a monkey fist?

It's basically a lead ball with paracord around it. You can put on your keys.

Might run afoul of 18 Pa.C.S. § 908: Prohibited offensive weapons
    (a) Offense defined.--A person commits a misdemeanor of the first degree if, except as authorized by law, he makes repairs, sells, or otherwise deals in, uses, or possesses any offensive weapon.

    (c) Definitions.--As used in this section, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings given to them in this subsection:

"Offensive weapons." Any bomb, grenade, machine gun, sawed-off shotgun with a barrel less than 18 inches, firearm specially made or specially adapted for concealment or silent discharge, any blackjack, sandbag, metal knuckles, dagger, knife, razor or cutting instrument, the blade of which is exposed in an automatic way by switch, push-button, spring mechanism, or otherwise, any stun gun, stun baton, taser or other electronic or electric weapon or other implement for the infliction of serious bodily injury which serves no common lawful purpose.

    My dehumanizing stare.
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

There is a plastic, L shaped widget with a large hole and several hex head holes marked with sizes, 1/2 in., 9/16 in. It fits nicely in your hand with the L extended out the bottom of your hand when you make a fist. First finger thru the ring/hole. I have taken it everywhere, including the airport. I was asked about only once going through security and stated it was a wrench for a bicycle. No problem. Training to use this would be similar to a kubaton.
Forget where I got it. Maybe someone else here knows what I am referring to.
The question is, will you be on your feet or your knees?

Steel toe boots or shoes. I sure as hell wouldn't want to be roshambo'd with them. Legal to wear everywhere I believe. Not the most honorable way to win a potentially dangerous altercation but you get to walk away.

And this, my friends, is how BUDK and similar companies get away with selling the brass knuckles.

No, they're not *REALLY* brass knuckles, they're just a paperweight made in the exact same size, shape, and material as brass knuckles.

"Honorable" means nothing to me when I'm defending my life and have a daughter to go home to.
