2 Day Concealed Carry
This course is held over two days (9/7 and 9/8) and is designed to take someone with basic pistol handling skills and teach them the knowledge and skills needed to successfully and legally carry a handgun outside the home. Unlike similar courses you may take, this course includes ways to recognize an impending attack, classroom-based instruction, range time with specific drills, as well as a session taught by a practicing PA lawyer who specializes in firearm and use of force laws. This session will cover the legalities of firearm possession, as well as where it is - and is not - legal to carry a firearm.

Tactics and Strategies for Concealed Carry

Target Identification
Range Skills Include:
Isosceles Stance
Kneeling Stance
One Handed Marksmanship
Shooting From Retention
Shooting While Moving
Reload Drills
Failure Drills
Basic Drawing Techniques
Target Identification
Practical Scenarios
Prerequisites:
At least 21 years old
The ability to shoot 10/10 rounds on a vertical 8 1/2" X 11" paper at 7 yards.*
Documentation of clean criminal history (PA. State Police background check, letter from a local Police Chief, valid PA LTCF, etc.)
Required Equipment:
Pistol you plan to carry
2+ magazines/speed loaders
Appropriate holster for open or concealed carry
Pouch for spare magazines
Sturdy belt that can support the weight of a pistol and spare magazines
200+ rounds of ammunition
-If you do not have 200 rounds of ammo due to the ammo shortage/prices,
contact the instructor and we might be able to work with you with the ammo that you have
10 rounds of dummy ammunition
Hat, Eye and Ear protection
Documentation of Clear Criminal History
Cost: $250 /person ($225/person if household members attend together)
Deposit: $125 / person

Due to an unforeseen scheduling difficulties at the range facilities, this course is now being held at:
900 Line Street #3
Easton, PA 18042
We will be using Easton Fish and Game for the range portions.
The legal portion will be 11/3/13 at Hellertown Sportsman's Association.
There is about one week left to register.
