Default Lehigh Defense 70gr 9mm HERO test!

    Hey guys,

I finally got a chance to test out the 70gr 9mm offering from Lehigh Defense and I gotta say I think it would out pretty well. Really interested to see if you guys like the results as well.

Lehigh bullets look bad A$$...I'm going to their office on 07/16/13 to check out the facility and to purchase some of their 30cal bullets for my 300BO.

I cannot wait to start loading for Lehighs.

They sell out of the place? I'd rather not pay shipping when I live 15 min away.

Look at every other service caliber round they produce. Light weight, high velocity gimmick rounds with low penetration depths and high cost per round. No thanks.

Only monometal HP pistol bullet I will buy is the Barnes X bullet.

It's hard to get weight when you don't have lead. You can get plenty of penetration from a kid's compound bow...or ball ammo.

With that being said, I do have some of these. I'd trust my life on them and do.

Their .30cal subsonic stuff is really nasty, too.

There is an option on their website for in store pickup but I'm pretty sure they don't have an actual store.

Lehigh makes top notch products...I've been looking at their 338 for years...well the 30cal bullets look great and I cannot wait to try taking whitetail this season.

The Barnes X bullet performs very well and has no lead and is of adequate weight.(all copper) They just know how to design a bullet. The gilding metal and monometal rifle bullets made by several manufacturers also do quite well without lead and are made in weights the same as their lead counterparts. You can also add tungsten cores to monometal bullets to add weight. Lehigh has just jumped on the super light and fast gimmick round bandwagon like other companies have done over the years.
