    Default what if I'm on a bridge between two states ?

    The state next to me does not recognize my carry permit . What if I am on a bridge between the two states . At what point am I no longer legal to carry ? For example ,standing on a bridge to watch a fireworks display between two states .Thank you

    So, let's say you're on the side of the bridge where you're safe. A car crossing the bridge burst into flames blocking your path back to your own state. The only place to flee is a state that's not friendly to gun owners.

    I suggest hiring a surveyor.

    It's the only way to be sure.

    I thought nuking it from orbit was the only way to be sure?

    Typically the centerline of the river is the dividing line between NJ and Pa. I presume we are talking about NJ.

    To be honest why push your luck. Is a firework show that important that you have to be right on the bridge?

    Point taken. I always take the side of caution. I take these things quite serious. I also have a sense of humor. With folks that I ( know ). The surveyor picture is pretty funny though.

    There is no such thing as "between" states. Either your in on, or the other.
