    Default Little League Games

    Hello All,

I'm new to this forum and this is my first question.

My kids are involved in Little League and the fields/parks they play at are not owned by a school district. They are usually in community parks or just ball fields in the middle of "no where" that the league itself maintains.

I have read the laws about where I can't carry and couldn't find anything about community parks or ball fields or kids sporting events.

I'm assuming I have the right to carry at these events. Am I correct?

    Thanks for your help.

    Larry

IMO, it depends on who actually owns the fields. If they are owned by a township or borough, preemption applies. If they are owned by the league or some club like Lions, Kiwanis, etc., then private property rules apply, and the owner may prohibit carry.

In other words, if the games are at a borough or township park, concealed carry is lawful.
