Does anyone know if they have a policy banning firearms? A search of their web site turned up nothing.

Has anyone attended an event their and carried?

I can't find any indication that they do nor do they have signs posted. The do have bag checks at the entrance, but no wanding or pat down last time I was there.

Yup, that's exactly what I had on me. Just stand back and watch how they check before you go through and act accordingly.

You should be able to find parking along Girard (just read signs), though it may be an extra 5 minute walk, instead of paying for parking.

Was there about two weeks ago. I asked a security guy at the door if I could go in with my 20 oz soda, he said "they let everything in here".

Looked like security was mainly concerned about big umbrellas and other items that could block the view of people on the patio section.

Neighborhood around it did not inspire great confidence. They have a SEPTA loop running to/from Center City before and after shows. Check their website.

I have to add that everyone from security to concession's attendants were extremely nice, actually made you feel like they were happy to work there, I wonder if they are volunteers.

Update: There were no security checks other than the guardians of the gate enforcing the one bottle of water per person limitation.

Does anyone know if the policies have changed or become more restrictive in their pat downs..also does anyone know of any other security used for say headliners?

Plan on going down there soon for a venue
