Good Business or Douchebaggery?
I've heard from several sources that a LGS in Pike County has been wiping out any handgun ammo from the local Walmart and re-selling it in his store at double the price.
Seems the owner and a couple employees hit Wallymart when they open at 7am to sell ammo. Any pistol ammo, 22, or popular rifle ammo is bought up by these folks. Using the "3 box max of each caliber per person" rule. He's getting 9mm at 13.99 a box and selling it in his store for 27.00.
I know that if people would just stop buying it for what he's selling it at. He may eventually stop. But since there really isn't anyone close to these two business' he's essentially cornering the market. Either buy from him, or drive 20 miles (or more) to get it somewhere else.
In my opinion this shop is one of the causes of the current ammo situation, pure greed.

Most certainly douchebaggery. Some of us have to shoot on a budget and I personally boycott each and every store I find out that does this.

Re: Good Business or Douchebaggery?
I have that happen at 2 of my local walmarts. I have walked in, seen 5 guys grab 3 boxes each and all were paid for on the same credit card. It wasnt till a few days later after going to a LGS to get my weapon cleaned that I noticed the same people were at the Walmart. I personally think it is messed up, but business is business. If you wanna make sure that you can get ammo at the Walmart, then you gotta get there early too.
Don’t like me ???? Tough, I don’t give a flying f@@k about ya.

I'm sure if that were happening, someone would have video of them doing it, right?
