So the NRA is "power hungry" because they refuse to endorse a candidate who has stabbed the gun owning community in the back.

Actions speak louder than words, and Manchin made his bed, now he can lay in it. Hopefully he gets sent home after the next election.

I have been disappointed with the NRA at times, but once you are a member, and eligible, you need to vote for who serves on the board at the NRA. When I became a life member in the early 90's, the NRA still was mostly FUDDS, it has changed a lot over the years and they do listen. As with any large organization change can be slow, so you have to be involved.

Well, the NRA has been sort of a pendulum. And it not only matters when, but also where.

As of now they are certainly knocking it out of the park on the national level. And everybody should be a member IMO. And nobody should be a life member IMO. For whatever it is worth.

Without political power now-a-days I would argue that you cannot advance the greater good for gun rights.

So good for them if that is their goal.
