Absolute demands and commands do not make for a happy marriage, this will not end well. This not a simple issue of seeing another point of view, it is the warning shot of a Bloody battle that will end with you broke, working at Wallyworld as a greater and not being able to afford a Slurpy. It may also be a sign of mental illness but with a democrat it's hard to tell, they come that way.

Often these are control issues that are rooted in other areas of the marriage. This won't be the last demand. Once you jump through this hoop, there will just be another. Do you play golf or have another hobby that takes you away from her? Just wait. If you don't stand up to this one, be sure there will be more, and more. Draw a line in the sand now, or forever be miserable.

as a committee person holding a political patronage job. its my duty to go with the republican city committee endorsed ballot. I don't work my divisions canvassing petitions to not vote for them...
