The guy obviously has skill. But I'm calling that a lucky shot. Even he said he wouldn't hit it.

It can, snipers in Afghanistan have pulled it off in a pinch, including one if I recall that took 2 talibans off a motorbike.

That was a hell of a shot. I don't think anybody is disagreeing with you libra, it's a "shit shot", lol. It's one of those things that when you make the shot, you know it was lucky and bullshit, so you just smile, put the rifle up, and don't shoot another round or talk about the shot for a long time, lol. This is just one of those fluke things. The nice thing is that it was a .50 BMG, so you're not quite fighting the wind nearly as bad as you would with a conventional caliber. Then again, you're dealing with the 35 pounds of rifle.

I could tell from the comments, and the description of the video that he didn't want to take the shot. He just did it to be a good sport because so many of the staff and customers were prodding him to give it a try. While there is a lot of luck involved, there's definitely a lot of skill to even have a chance. That was a pretty neat video, and I'm glad that it was caught on tape because it's one of those things that you may never really see again.

Agreed, 100%. Hey, if you're trying to hit it and you do, then you can definitely, at least, add some skill to it. Any non relaxing and he isn't hitting it, so kudos to him for having balls big enough to carry in a wheel barrow to make the shot without flinching, not that it would shake 35 lbs very much.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.
