Stanley E. Saylor may support "mild" gun-control
I just got an email from Stanley E. Saylor (the Republican Majority Whip in the PA House of Representatives) on gun-control. Overall it was positive, but alarm bells went off in my head when it also claimed that he supports "reasonable restrictions and safeguards" on people's ability to get guns, prefixed with language about VTech and Sandy Hook. To me it sounded like he might be tricked into supporting something like HB1010, but I don't know enough about him to honestly say that he could.
All of these politicians need to understand that they cannot play both sides, and that even "moderate" bills are plainly unconstitutional.
Remind him that his oath of office means that he is not allowed to interpret the Constitution liberally, encourage him to be an oath keeper, and tell him you will donate time and money to his campaign if he stands against any type of gun control:

Can you share the email or no? I would like to see the context. It will help me craft my email to Stanley.

You also might want to get some detail. "Reasonable restrictions" means different things to different people. Meanwhile, Mr Saylor has sponsored and voted very pro 2A in the past. No sense pissing off an ally with your poison pens without a little context.
I'll bet every one of you can think of people who shouldn't have access to guns, should you be tarred and feathered as well?
/rant.While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.
