Default Pittsburgh WTAE TV Ch4 news hatchet job on gun bashes

They've been promo'ing it all night, over and over and over -

"Bushmaster -just like used at Sandy Hook - being given away by public safety officials at gun bashes! The very people that should be stopping these guns!"- 2-month undercover investigation of gunbashing, news at 11!!

Plenty of EBRs on cameras... They attended the Bruin VFD in Butler and AGH County Deputies bashes.

And of course the politicians were invited to take cheap shots at the 2A as part of the report. Meanwhile, county politicians are trying to organize a gun buy-back.

Lesson learned: We got to screen our attendees better; their loosey-loafered well-coifed investigative reporter Bob Hazen shoulda been spotted a mile away and asked to leave...

Whatever you do - don't let that google-eyed freakazoid Marty Goofen from KDKA into any of your 2A events..

Did they actually show the part where every person who wins a firearm has to submit to a background check? I'm guessing no, they prob just show someone winning then walking out with armfuls of guns...

They only mentioned that because one of the bash-promoters made a point of it. IIRC; Sheriff Mullin (??) was surprisingly "pro bash" and said that buy-backs were ineffective.

Still didn't stop them from trotting out the uber-lib Dem senator from Squirelly Hill on camera to denounce the bashes.

Just so you know, a couple weeks back, KDKA TV did a short segment in the 6PM cast about more women taking up handgun training. It was a straight up piece at a range, normal interviews, no negativity.

Default Guns, assault-style weapons raffled off for cash

PITTSBURGH —Gun bashes have been a fixture in western Pennsylvania for decades as a way to raise money for many different types of groups, but now some are raising concerns about whether the events are sending the wrong message, especially when held by public safety agencies.

I haven't been back there in quite a while but I remember that you could see that station from my cousin's house built up on a hill in Swissvale, yeah, I know it's off topic
