Let me know how you like that SOPMOD stock. Thinking about putting one on a scoped AR. Cheek weld and all that business....

Re: Decided to join the NFA Club
SOPMOD stocks are awesome - it's my number one choice for my ARs.
They're built like a tank, they don't wobble or shift at all, they lock up tight, and the cheek weld is fantastic.
If I ever build a precision or DMR type AR, I'm keeping the SOPMOD stock - I think it's perfect for anything.

Re: Decided to join the NFA Club
Where on earth did you find that upper in stock or did you get lucky somewhere? planning on plunking one on an NFA lower I have. Been looking for months.
I was going to go the factory SBR route but at the time DD wasn't entertaining any offers for a new build. Maybe I should call again.

Re: Decided to join the NFA Club
If you want a real deal 10.5, guaranteed with the correct size gas port, go LMT 10.5
I got mine from BCM... but i'm not sure how often they get them in.
You hear horror stories about gassing problems on off brand 10.5s (not that DD is off brand)
