So who is the best candidate Democrat Rocco Polidoro or Republican Mary McFall Hopper, cannot find any info, except for Rocco Polidoro Veterans status. Anything from the NRA.

Thumbs down on Polidoro. In my opinion, he will try to impose his liberal agenda on all of us. Before the last election, he and several of his family members and co-workers were standing outside of his office with signs and banners supporting the anointed one. Locally, the Republican Executive Committee is asking for your support of Mary McFall Hopper for Sheriff. Would love to see the NRA voice an opinion of this one.

Well, you have do that as a matter of course to uphold the laws of Pennsylvania. Does he just need to fill in space on his profile? This man believes far too many people have permits and will do everything in power to make it as difficult as he possibly can to get a renewal or new permit.

I will keep politics out of the Sheriff's Dept

That means he will do exactly the opposite, getting elected as Sheriff as a democrat means he will use the office to promote other democrats getting elected and punish anyone who belongs to another political party. This is evident by his first statement about enforcing background checks. It's the law already and he is sending out "signals" (Chris Mathews-dog whistles) that he will use the office to get guns out of the hands of individuals as much as he can.

Here's an example of what I'm saying. In the Bucks County Prothonotary office the one candidate is running merely for the purpose of gaining control of the government and using it to promote an agenda that has nothing to do with the obscure office he is running for. The Prothonotary is an office generally not heard of for guarding the records of the civil court and the one candidate wants to use it to promote gay marriage and gun control. This is how it is done. They work slowly but surely without anyone watching because it interrupts the game on TV and then one day bang-o, leftists that train all their lives to become government, freedom usurping bureaucrats are in a position to take your rights from you.

Mary McFall Hopper

I will uphold the laws of the Commonwealth of PA and Delaware County.

Plain and simple, there are laws on the books, it's her job to follow them.

I will strive to continue improving the services of the Sheriff's Department to benefit the residents of Delaware County.

I'm taking this to mean ALL of the residents of Delaware county and not just the ones that belong to one political party.

If I still lived in Delaware County, it's where I grew up, I would vote for Mary McFall Hopper. I don't know her but what she has said in her profile has convinced me she is the better of the two.
