    Default Any union members here?

I just started working in the western PA laborers union local 373.

I know 27 hand is in (you guessed it) local 27. Plumbers union.

    Anyone else in a union?

    P-11 nailed me for Plumber's Local Union #27 Pittsburgh.(last 32 yrs)

I did a real short stint in Laborers's LU 373 ( I'm pretty sure but was only in for about 3 months) about 32+ yrs ago

    and last but not least,

IBEW Local 1207 Meadowlands Pa. where I wired VHF and UHF transmitters for RCA Corp. We also wired and did troubleshooting for 50,150 and 450 megacycle mobile radios.

Dad is a retired union carpenter and was in Carnegie LU # 571 till they merged with LU #142.

My one kiddo was in a Teamsters LU ( # unknown) when he worked for Coke and he is currently in a Pressman's local ( LU # 9) working for the Tribune Review which is primarily nonunion but when they bought out the Daily News in McKeesport, they agreed to keep some of the trades union.

Years ago, I founded that local but have since relinquished command.

Everyone needs to see this kind of video, but especially those on the left
    who support Trade Unions.

Really interesting video...shows the Ford plant and at the end don't miss
why this can't be done in the US. This was sent by an engineer who has
worked for Ford for almost 30 years. He is from a farming family and still
owns part of the old family farm in upstate New York. He graduated from
MIT and most recently designed the engine in the new Ford 150 and is
presently working on a revolutionary new engine design strictly for
ethanol. By the way he states he believes the new engine will drastically
change the efficiency question about ethanol.

This is a video of a new Ford plant in Brazil. One look at this and each
of you will instantly be able to tell what is wrong with the manufacturing
plants of the US car makers and why there will probably never be another one
built in the US. It will also point out why more will go off shore. But I
consider this video to be revolutionary to understanding the value of free
trade and what is needed to get American manufacturing off their butts.
