Received a phone call from Mr. Karl Rohrbaugh himself.

Recently I've been experiencing some problems with my Rohrbaugh R9S 9mm pistol (Magazine ejects while firing). I had other people fire it and the same thing would also happen to them. So I sent my pistol back to Rohrbaugh along with a letter explaining my situation. Shortly after receiving my pistol, they did some maintenance work on it and sent it back to me. I took it to the range and fired several shots, but the problem was still there. So I boxed it up again and sent it back to them. Well, to my surprise, Mr. Karl Rohrbaugh (founder/CEO) contacted me via telephone letting me know that he received my pistol/letter, was very apologetic, and wanted to make me an offer. He asked if I wanted my money back or a replacement pistol. I answered without hesitation, “I want another Rohrbaugh, but this time one that WORKS!” He said, "I will build you a honey!" Here are the two letters I wrote:


First letter

(Fyi, when I went to retrieve my letter from the trash can to re-scan it, I accidentally spilled tea on it, hehehe)

I took my Rohrbaugh to the range and fired many shots. I'm happy to say it is now working perfectly and not once did the magazine eject. Here are some pics:

You should look at the Glock19. Would be a perfect pocket pistol for you

hmmmm thanks for the suggestion Pa Pat.. im not much of a GLock fan personally and not a fan of 9mm at all .40 or bigger for me..

I think you handled the situation perfectly with your correspondence and I'm glad things are finally working out with your gun. I believe you deserve it because you've always struck me as a nice guy. Be safe, and happy shooting!
