The Sig MPX. As of right now, civilians can only buy the carbine version, but we can always SBR it.

Also, you can interchange the barrels between 9mm, .357SIG and .40 S&W.

I wonder what it costs with the appropriately short barrel.

I am curious, are these carbines blowback operated or piston operated? Most pistol caliber carbines are blowback but the advertisements I have seen mention the piston.
Sanity, yours if you can keep it.....

    Visually, I'm a fan.

It looks good. I'm sure it will be expensive, and no where near as fun without SBR paperwork. And also because it won't be full auto the inherent usefulness of a pistol caliber carbine that's supposed to be an SMG/PDW... is... yeah.

    But it looks good.

If we're talking about pistol caliber carbines/SBR's... that were designed to be SMG's... I'll see your Sig MPX. And raise you a Vityaz-SN.

Equally low in the usefulness scale to the average civvi gun owner in it's neutered state should they ever import them in any format.

I too am looking forward to this, but I'm afraid that it will be vaporware for a long time.

I've been hearing MSRP for the civ version will be $1999.

That is a but high. But like anything else, after a year of its first release it will probably cost much less.
