Re: New Jersey Senators- "Confiscate, confiscate, confiscate"
"They want to keep the guns out of the hands of the bad guys, but they don't have any regulations to do it."
We don't have regulations to keep drunks out of cars, fire away from arsonists, or rapists away from women. What we do have are appropriate punishments for those crimes. Liberals choose to ignore the ways to enforce gun laws. They ignore stats that up to 70% of gun violence is concentrated in a few urban areas, these urban areas that are perpetuated by their "Here's some money, Go away", attitudes. They don't confront black leaders in urban communities about gang violence, because they bought into their own hype that any criticism of any group that isn't white and straight is racism or hatred.
Someone wrote this on another forum about liberals response to evil people and I thought it appropriate to share.
"There is a profound moral confusion in some people who seem totally incapable of looking evil squarely in the face and calling it what it is. They think they are somehow better people themselves if they can see the sweetness and goodness in monsters. They make the mistake of assuming that evil people are evil every second of their existence(note;Hitler was nice to his mother and his dog) and any act of non-evil by the monster provokes their reflexively compassionate response. You see, being morally unable to recognize evil they cannot respond to it rationally. As an example I would mention the virtual media blackout of the Gosnell trial by everyone but Fox News. Here we have a homegrown Dr. Mengele and media could care less. Such people appear to exist in a perpetual state of Stockholm Syndrome. They are hostages just waiting for the moment when they can be a captive sympathetically inclined towards the terrorist putting a gun to their head, because doing so make them feel like they are good. Like I said, it displays a profound moral confusion"

From the article, a quote from Senate Pres. Steve Sweeney
"What we've actually accomplished here is what Washington wasn't able to do," Sweeney said. "I strongly feel we are now the national model."We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately.-Benjamin Franklin

Re: New Jersey Senators- "Confiscate, confiscate, confiscate"
There is no reason why any of us should be surprised by anything that comes from NJ. In fact there is no reason to even like anything about NJ. Whatever minor beauty that still exists there is far outweighed by the immense ugliness. Sandy did her best to rid us of some of it. Better luck next time.

IMHO, any gun control totally circumvents due process, a basic tenet of our foundation.
Yes, the antis don't hate freedom and liberty; they hate your having them.It is you. You have all the weapons that you need. Now fight. --Sucker Punch

I was always told that the NJ Devil was nothing but a myth, it would appear there's many and they work in the NJ Legislature.
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.
