    I have just spent considerable, unrecoverable life expectancy, re-reading and plodding through this resurrected thread, and I noticed something. Although the subject is use of semi-auto firearms to hunt deer, the arguments have the same kinds of spins used by the people crafting legislation to further curtail those of us having nothing to do with the criminal use of guns. Examples of illegalities perpetrated by those using presently-accepted guns, and what they would do with more firepower. Speculations....having no basis in fact and zero to do with sound reasons for or against. If legislators read these arguments, it may be no wonder if they tend to ignore us.

    The house has not voted on it yet. Looks like they will not be back until November 4th. Let's hope they vote on it then.
