    Default Firearm advertising

I recently won a shotgun at the FONRA dinner. Tuesday I placed a free classified ad in the Easton Express Times to try and sell it. The ad was supposed to start today , it didn't, so I called and was told they don't advertise firearms. I replied that VP Joe Biden has said many times that Everybody should have one at home, she said no, no.

I just left a message with the publisher, to see what he or she says.

Publisher's office just called me back. Sorry no firearm ads in the paper.

    How was the ad worded?

Maybe try: Selling a self install home protection system Model R870 (M500, W1300, etc.), very reliable, only $xxx.

Gun people would know what you're talking about.

Wow...never heard that one before. Their Presidential contributions probably go to the Oblahma camp. I have heard 'you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink', even if he is thirsty. Another great moment in the world of libs.

The publishers office gave me some BS about paperwork. Gee the last time I bought a car I filled out a lot more paperwork than selling a firearm. I told her look advertising is supposed to bring people together that is all, then any paperwork is taken care of by the parties involved.
