Red Dot on Mossy

I just picked up another mossberg 500 and was going to go the tactical route with it. Has anyone hear used a Red dot sight on these? I just picked up a weaver rail for the top and was thinking about adding one. I'm not sure which one would work best for shotgun duty. I want something that will hold up but doesn't cost more than I paid for the shotgun.

Have an older Aimpoint on my mossy 535 for turkey. I'd say go quality over price if you want it to last
