Beretta 92 Stripped Grip Screw Bushing
I recently put a skeleton hammer on my Beretta 92 which required me to remove the grips. When I was putting the screws back in the holes I stripped a grip screw bushing. At first I thought it was the screw so I tried another with no luck. After inspecting it more closely I realized I had filed down the first 3 or 4 threads inside the hole. I plan on keeping this gun so I want to fix it the right way. I will post pictures if that would help but most of you probably know what I'm talking about. Where do I go from here? Also, I don't like to assume but am I correct in assuming its still safe to shoot. The grip is still pretty secure with the one screw. Please advise. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It won't hurt the gun to shoot it with only one screw and the bushing can be replaced.

Re: Beretta 92 Stripped Grip Screw Bushing
Thanks for the answers guys!! Can I change the bushing myself or does it need to be done by a gunsmith?
