Hi guys, I'm Grant from Montgomery county me and my dad recently got into shooting and acquired some guns and have shot mainly at French creek indoor range. I'm new to the forum and have a quick question.
Me and my dad are looking to try and join at the kimberton fish and gun club soon, does anyone know there phone number? I tried emailing them but they never answered. Thanks guys!

Re: Kimberton fish and gun club question
I've been a happy member at Kimberton for years, great club. Maybe I can answer some questions for you. If not, ask and I'll PM the president's phone number to you. Your first step for membership is to show up at the next members' meeting and get an application. The meetings are the 2nd Thursday of each month, at 8pm. I know there was some discussion of closing the membership off at its current number, so don't wait.

Re: Kimberton fish and gun club question
I am a member of both the Kimberton Fish and Game Association as well as the Northern Chester County Sportsmen Club.
I like both of them for different reasons.
KF&GA is very close and convenient for me. I go there mostly for pistol shooting. The 5 rounds in a mag and no rapid fire for rifles is a let down for me. Also they only allow paper targets.
NCCSC allows fulls mags and rapid fire. You can also shoot anything you want to bring so long as it does not contain glass, it does not explode, and you clean up the mess when you're done. The rifle range is also longer at NCCSC.
We do most of our shooting at NCCSC. I keep the membership at KF&GA because I do use it a couple or three times a year and I want to support local gun clubs.Μολὼν λάβε

Hmmmm.....I've never heard or seen any "rapid fire" rule at Kimberton.

Re: Kimberton fish and gun club question
I think you are allowed rapid pistol fire and full mags at the short range next to the bowling pin range, but nowhere else. Other members correct me if I'm wrong. Also, I think it is a three round limit in mags not 5.

Re: Kimberton fish and gun club question
I guess that "Combat Pistol Range" is the only place I ever really thought about rapid fire, although I have practiced double-taps with AKs and ARs at about 30 yards on the 100 yard range and nobody said anything. I have read all the range rules and have never seen any speed restrictions.
And there are 5 round limits, no range has a 3 round limit.
