Utah CCW under attack next?
I was told the PA AG cannot change the agreement with Utah without some type of vote? Anyone know if this true or will she systematically change the Utah permit as she has Fl, Az, Me, and Va? Anyone have the scoop?

Re: Utah CCW under attack next?
UT non-resident already requires that you have license/permit from your home state, so basically I think the loophole does not exist.

Re: Utah CCW under attack next?
This is only true when your home state and Utah recognize each other's license/permit. For the NJ people, they can get a Utah permit because NJ does not recognize any other state license/permit.
The agreements Kane has changed require the person be a resident of the state where the license/permit was issued. She might leave Utah alone because for a Pennsylvanian to obtain one they have to have a LTCF first. Although folks from other states have been affected by her meddling with agreements her main goal appears to be making PA residents get a PA LTCF in order to carry in PA.
JerZee, for the record, Kane had nothing to do with ME being resident only, that agreement was signed in November of 2011.

Re: Utah CCW under attack next?
Good call soberbyker, I remember that now, Utah is still safe for Jerseyians at the moment because our communist state refuses to have an agreement with Utah.
The Maine thing I'm not so sure you're right about, they even just updated the handgunlaw website to reflect that the Maine non-resident is currently no longer valid. I remember the reason I got that permit was for PA carry. I'm not sure Maine had any other reciprocity that was valuable to me. Then again, I could be wrong, it wouldn't be the first time!

Re: Utah CCW under attack next?
I think the only way she can change Utah is if she sends them a written agreement and they agree to sign on, hopefully they refuse and stay under a statutory agreement, NH will most likely be next though IMO
